COVID-19 RESPONSE

Return to training

We are thrilled to be back in the dojo, training in person again from 1st August. We would love to see you at training again, and are keen to do this in a way that is as safe and comfortable as possible for everybody. When we step into the dojo to train together, we trust our training partners to treat our bodies and minds with respect, in exchange for the privilege of practising our techniques on them. This same  philosophy extends to our response to the covid-19 pandemic.

What are we doing?

We are lucky enough to have a large dojo with open windows and ceiling fans for air circulation. We socially distance for the parts of the class that do not require close contact, such as warming up or solo practise. We wear masks for the entire time we are in the building, with the exception of the tea break when we are socially distanced. We will cancel the class if Raven is isolating or is unwell and has not had a negative covid test.

What do we ask of you?

Please wear a face mask when inside the dojo, unless you are medically exempt. Please do not come to class if you have been "pinged", we encourage you to follow self-isolation guidance. Please do not come to training if you are feeling unwell - isolate and take a PCR test. Unfortunately lateral flow tests (LFT's) are not sensitive enough to be relied on for people who have symptoms.

Thank you for showing respect to your fellow ninjutsu students. With a careful approach to training, I hope that we can continue training indefinitely now that we have re-opened.
